When the company had over 500 clients receiving combined bills, COBRA administration and enrollment services, the procedures in place were fairly manual. Spreadsheets and paper tracking soon grew out of control. It was decided that an online retrieval system would be a great solution to the problem. Over the next five years Get-Benefits was developed. Early on it became apparent that a web-based system could be opened up for clients to take control of their new enrollments, changes and terminations of employees. All that was needed was a simple interface. After two years of running concurrently with the old paper based system, Get-Benefits was deemed ready for the public.
The online benefits administration system was officially launched in early 2000. Today there are thousands of employees and dependents administered on Get-Benefits. From small two man companies to large multi-state employers. All have learned that simple ideas can lead to great things. Get-Benefits is Benefits Administration Made Easy!
