While highly regarded as one of his generation's outstanding interpreters of the Viennese Classical repertoire, recent performances have placed him in increasing demand as an interpreter of the Romantic piano literature and a champion of Spanish, French and 20th century as well as of contemporary piano music.
Mr. Teissonnière is also widely recognized as one of the most esteemed and sought-after piano pedagogues today. He holds faculty appointments at the Cleveland Institute of Music, where he is in great demand for his work with young musicians, and is Artist-in-Residence at the Amati Music Festival in New York.
