Georgia Trail Runners Offroad Club

Description

My name is Terry and I am the founder and webmaster for the Geogia Trail Runners club. This is the new and improved version of the Georgia Trail Runners web site since it crashed. We hope you will find this one just as good as the original, if not better. Let us first of all tell you a little bit about our 4x4 and off-road club. We are a group of friends that get together as much as possible to go off-road trail riding. We ride at many different 4x4 and OHV trails in TN, AL, GA, and NC. We ride 4x4 and OHV trails like Rich, Anderson Creek, Tellico, Windrock, Beasley Knob, and places that some don't know about. We are open to any type of 4x4 off-road vehicles weather it be a Jeep, truck, SUV or a combination of several vehicles to dirt bikes, four wheelers and rails. We have no fee unless you wish to buy a window banner and these are sold at cost ($15ea with free shipping) (Click Here). We feel most of us stick enough money into our rides and should not have to pay to hang out with our friends or go trail riding. We are very informal and do not have a president or anything like that. We hate politics and surely do not want this involved in trail riding. We are a family oriented 4x4 and off-road club and have kids of all ages, wives and girlfriends that come along on most of the trail rides. With this being said, please have respect with what you say over the radio, you never know who will be listening. Pets and mother-in-laws are welcome as long as they are well behaved. Some of our rides are day trips and some consist of overnight stays. Most of the overnight stays are camping at the OHV area and most of the places that we camp are primitive and have no restrooms, showers, or running water. Please keep this in mind when bringing small children and city women, like my wife. Although we have found that most kids enjoy the camping just as much as the trail riding. We all just like to have a good time and trail ride. There is nothing like sitting around the campfire at night with your friends talking about the day. We will tell you that due to the fact most of the places that we ride on are on federal and state land there is no alcohol allowed at any time on the trails or in the camp sites. If you are drinking on the trail we will call the police and you will be banned from future rides with the club. If you want to drink, go to a bar. Also, some of the trails are on private land or cross private land, so I do not suggest riding with out the club. I would hate to see someone go to jail for trespassing. If you are looking for a really good group of friends this is the club for you. Come join the fun!!
