The original creative cat, Gary Baseman is a prolific visual artist whose work is featured everywhere from the permanent collections of the National Portrait Gallery in Washington, D.C., to the pages of the New York Times, Rolling Stone, and Reader's Digest. Baseman has won multiple Emmys for his animated TV show Teacher's Pet, which has also been adapted to a full-length motion picture. His book, Dumb Luck, is available from Chronicle Books.
