As I said in the intro for the 9th mappack, since the Source SDK is out, we're seeing a lot more quality maps coming out. For the moment the quality custom maps seem to be limited to remakes of old counterstrike maps, with the very notable exeption of aim_advance by TJF. This is really the only map out now for source that actually makes full use of the landscaping possibilities that the source engine offers. In aim_advance two teams sitting opposite each other, much like cs_reflex3, but in a more aztec-like enviroment and with turrets instead of the retracting wall. Aim_advance is very good map by any standards and a terrific one given the short release time of the Source SDK.

The map everyone's dying to have ported over finally has! Yes, Weeper has finally remade de_nuke in source! Now called de_nukes_b8, it's the first public release of de_nukes, but a fully playable one. Ironically the nukes themselves are missing, but that's a moot point as everything else is done just right

. The map layout is just as you remember from half-life: counterstrike, though a few subtle touches have been made. This isn't a bad thing at all, as the original layout was strong and the touches are quite minimal.
