The Funny Bone Comedy Club continues to enjoy a solid reputation as the most successful and professionally run comedy operation in the country. The entertainment format for "Stand Up" comedy proved to be an instant sensation and has made sellout crowds the rule, rather than the exception.
The Funny Bone began operation in July of 1981, at which point the following successful formula was introduced: Top headlining comedians each week, plus an emcee and a featured performer, add highly visible location, great service at a reasonable price, all of which equals success. Thus marking the beginning of the nation's most successful comedy club operation.
As our success grew, the biggest names in comedy today began to grace our stage, such as: Jim Carrey, Ellen De Generes, Roseanne Barr, Tim Allen, Jeff Foxworthy, George Wallace, Jerry Seinfield, Brett Butler, Dennis Miller, Marsha Warfield, Sinbad, Robin Williams, Richard Lewis, and Jay Leno, to name a few.
