The Board of Directors of the Coalition for World No Tobacco Day (WNTD) is pleased to announce that the following 28 organizations have been awarded community grants to support their 2005 WNTD activities. The Coalition received 142 grant requests this year.
The Coalition is appreciative of all the grants submitted and the continued support shown for the Coalition’s fight against the tobacco epidemic. We wish you the best in your WNTD activities.
The Coalition is deeply appreciative of the major finding for the 2005 Community Grant Program provided by the American Legacy Foundation. As such, all Informational Materials produced by the Grantee shall prominently make reference to the facts that (a) the Foundation has provided financial support for the Grantee's project, in whole or in part, as the case may be; and (b) the Grantee's Informational Materials do not necessarily represent the views of the Foundation, Foundation staff, or its Board of Directors.
