The Princess Margaret Hospital, is situated in Eastern St. Thomas, Jamaica, and overlooks the Caribbean Sea, and the Bath mineral Fountain nearby. The late Princess Margaret opened Princess Margaret Hospital on February 23, 1955. It replaced the former Morant Bay Hospital, which was devastated by Hurricane Charlie in 1951. PMH is a Type “C “Hospital. It is hoped to have this upgraded to type “B”.
