Irene Shone is author and Program Coordinator for French Essentials. She holds a B.A. in French, a teaching certificate and a postgraduate certificate in French linguistics from Université Laval, Quebec City. Irene has been involved with teaching French to homeschool students since 1996. "I started teaching French to homeschool students in small groups and it just grew from there!" Irene's husband, Greg Shone, a French immersion teacher, is the curriculum program advisor.
