Thank you for visiting the Internet home of the Fredericktown Community Fire District. Our all-volunteer Central Ohio department serves an estimated 8700 citizens in 115 square miles of rural Knox County. We trace our Fredericktown firefighting roots back to the year 1854 when the first volunteer firefighting company was organized. We started as 11 men armed with speaking trumpets, wool hats, fire buckets, and hand pumps we have evolved.
