About this site
I started this site in 2000 because I assumed no one would pay me or otherwise sponsor me posting whatever I wanted to the web. So far I haven't gotten a lot of evidence this assumption was wrong.
About Me: Public
I just spent the last year (2005) programming the ccMixter site and being its admin. The project was funded by Creative Commons which I happily associate myself with, even if the feelings are (understandably) not always reciprocated. CC released the entire source to the site under a project called ccHost (download the code here. This site is using it.) Although I am no longer responsible for the maintainance of the site, I'm an active member of the ccMixter community and regularly post new music there.
