Fortwood Center is the leading provider of outpatient mental health treatment and case management services in the area for children and adults with severe mental health problems. Fortwood Center is a non-profit organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life for residents of Chattanooga and Hamilton County who are experiencing mental illness or emotional problems. Fortwood Center was established in 1947 as the Chattanooga Child Guidance Clinic.
