- Forensic Health Services (FHS) was founded in 1994 by a group of senior forensic mental health professionals to fulfill a need for high quality, expert-level forensic mental health services within one of the country's largest maximum security psychiatric hospitals. FHS far exceeded all performance measures in meeting this need, and the company has grown over the years into a private behavioral health care organization offering a broad spectrum of evaluation, treatment, and consultation services both locally and nationally. FHS continues to provide services to adults and juveniles in the areas of forensic mental health and correctional behavioral health care. Our expertise in these areas has enabled us to develop and deliver evidence-based programming informed by diagnostic sophistication and principles of risk assessment to a range of populations in a variety of settings. For example, we now are providing comprehensive evaluation and treatment services to adult sex offenders in a secure facility as well as conducting assessments for juveniles living at home identified by schools as potentially at-risk.
