The 2009.2010 series marks the ninth Fontana Chamber Arts season and the first in which I bring my programming to Kalamazoo stages. This year Fontana will celebrate icons and iconoclasts, two words that are mistakenly used interchangeably but in actual fact, could not be more dissimilar. What is the difference? While an icon is the object of adoration, iconoclasts break with convention in order to find new ways forward.
