Prof. C.D. Bhattacharya the present Dean of the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, has distinguished himself as a teacher, researcher in the area of Finance and Accounting. He served Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad as Assistant Professor for a period of a little more than two years. He completed his Ph.D. from the University Of Allahabad on the title " A Study of Valuation of Indian Companies" (An Application of Multiple Regression Analysis). His papers have appeared in professional journals and magazines like The Indian journal of Economics, The Chartered Accountant, Jodhpur Management Journal etc. He has been actively involved in the conduct of Management Development Programmes for different organizations like The Centre of Excellence - Taj Palace Hotel, Food Corporation of India, Thomson Press (India) Ltd., GAIL, Customs and Central Excise Dept. etc. He has also authored two books in the area of Management Accounting and Public Sector Enterprises in India.

In the next few years we are likely to witness a tremendous upsurge in the demand for MBA professionals in India. Indian students are in great demand in other countries in different fields as well and the number of collaborations between Indian business schools and that from other countries is likely to go up.
