Flying Skirts is Gwen Heckeroths' one women company in San Francisco. She has been providing costuming to the dance community for more than a decade.
The Flying Skirts line is known for high quality construction, natural fibers, gorgeous colors, and skirts perfect for gypsy flourishes and full flight.
I guess you could say Flying Skirts was started when my mother made matching mother/daughter "Gypsy skirts" when I was 6 or so- Three tiers, full enough to twirl, and my favorite garment of all time, I would have worn it every day if Mom would have let me.
