Although the flu is often confused with the common cold, it is in fact a more impactfull pathogen. The flu is normally contracted 1-4 days after exposure and symptoms may include; muscle ache, headache, loss of appetite, fever, chills, fatigue, sore throat, runny nose, cough, weakness, and can include nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea (often known as stomach flu).
