- In 1985, after several years of working for different construction companies, Ray Fleischer, Jr. decided that it was time to go into business for himself. He started his venture with an old, meticulously clean, 1979 Chevy pickup and a couple of friends. With plenty of trade experience and ambition, he formed R&R Construction. Even though he lived in Pennsylvania, he spent much of his time roofing and siding new homes in Eastern New Jersey for Ken Stark, owner of Tri-Con Construction.
