Description
Florida Cannabis Action Network has been active in Florida since the late 1980’s. The current organization is a State Not-for-Profit Corporation made up of a small volunteer staff.. Donations to FL CAN are welcome, but are not tax deductible.
A small Board of Directors and a larger advisory committee develop projects and direct action for Florida CAN. FL CAN has participated in training signature gathers in support of various petition drives, providing legal support to persons arrested for free speech violations or cannabis possession and celebrated the cannabis culture through hemp festivals, a Hemp Museum in Melbourne and our Pot TV series.
Florida Cannabis Action Network volunteers have created nationwide action with the Journey for Justice and Truth Police. We work with CAN West on the American For Safe Access Project by creating direct action in Florida cities in cooperation with national efforts.
