The website, hosted by Sheridan Distributing, Inc. opens with an announcement that the ban on dietary supplements that contain Ephredine has lifted. This is in question, as there are articles on the Internet that a federal appeals court upheld the ban on Ephredine, also known as Ma-Huang, on August 30, 2006. It has been said that ephedrine may cause heart palpitations, strokes, heart attacks, and even death. Ephedrine has been linked to the death of Orioles pitcher Steve Bechler, who was 23 when he collapsed in the locker room from ingesting this ingredient.
