- We have been in business making and selling fishing spinners in Colorado since 1999. The business started out by selling spinners at flea markets and craft shows. Then based on feedback from fishermen, I began expanding into a wholesale market as Osprey Lure Company. I crafted ten wooden displays that each held 36 spinners for counter sales and went on the road, selling to Convenience stores, Bait shops, Hardware and Sporting Goods stores throughout Colorado. The displays disappeared quickly and we made more. While selling, we usually included camping trips but as time allowed I began making road trips solely for sales and restocking.
