Description
The site started in October of 1999 and was originally created for my own purpose, as a self teaching tool, to teach myself the skill of web building.
As a whole-time fire-fighter I decided I would create the site about my job and what it entailed. I created a few pages, scanned some photos we had taken at work and put them online, using my free web space.
Over time the site became so popular that I decided it was time to see if there were any domain names available that would make the site even more appealing and accessible. I typed in the web address http://www.fireservice.co.uk/ and surprisingly it was available to buy, so I bought it.
