Description
Garden art lends a sense of solidity and structure to the garden. It can provide focal points, support circulation through the garden, and serve as markers of arrival, or as points of departure. Garden art can also evoke a sense of history, or bring an element of humor or reflection to the garden that plants alone cannot achieve.
I have ferreted out diverse sources to assemble a collection of off beat, one of a kind, or personally designed items. Some are antiques which I have imported from England, others are pieces of American history in the form of salvage from old architecturally interesting and significant buildings.
There are some major art pieces by established artists as well as individually designed, few of a kind, hand crafted object de jardin.
