FIUTS (Foundation for International Understanding Through Students), is an independent (501c-3) non-profit organization founded on the University of Washington campus in 1948. The founders' mission was to enhance international understanding and promote cultural exchange between UW internationals and Americans. They wanted to create an environment where ideas, issues, and the spirit of internationalism could be fostered.
