And that’s what we are about - putting together excellent holidays with the right mix of trains, superb scenery and general sightseeing that appeals to everyone.
All the holidays in this brochure use rail as the main means of travel within the main destination country and where practical, of getting there. If we can’t take you by train, then we’ll use air or coach and tell you in the itinerary. Escorted tours have a tour leader to look after all the arrangements and give you advice when you need it. The rail services we use can be on big main lines or on little everyday branches, offering the chance to really experience the country. People tell us they like us because of our natural mix of railway interest and general sightseeing, allowing them to choose. We pride ourselves on offering good hotels, quality airlines, carefully researched, interesting destinations and enjoyable train journeys. Our tour leaders are reliable but not intrusive and our itineraries are paced so that free time is almost always available to do your own thing.
