- FC Arkansas Camp is associated with Florida College, Tampa, Florida. Each year, the camp awards scholarships distributed through the Florida College Adopt-a-Student program to qualifying campers to attend Florida College. The camp started in the summer of 1998 with only 47 campers and occupied the Wyldewood Retreat campsite. By the third year, the camp moved to the larger and current Wyldewood facility. Today, we have grown to over 175. Because of the camp’s rapid growth, the Wyldewood facility has made available even more cabins to us through renovation and relocating their staff off campus so this year we can accommodate an even greater number of campers. Along with the anticipated growth comes the need for additional activities so we have also added a Low Ropes Challenge Course and a few more fun items to this year’s activity lineup.
