The idea of having our own shop started years ago, Buckhannon was without a shop of its own and driving 30 miles to get our bikes worked on was a major headache. We wanted to have a store that everybody felt welcome in, and went away feeling good about the sport of Mountain Biking.
We set simple goals. Sell top name brands of bicycles, carry accessories that everybody needs, and have a service department that can fix any bike in a limited amount of time. Above everything else, treat every person that walks through the door the way we would want to be treated.
We opened our doors on April 10th, 1998, and one month later, on Mothers Day had an open house and dedication service. As we look back on our 6+ years of business we have to thank the Lord and the cycling community. Three years after opening our store in Buckhannon, we found that many of our regular customers were coming in from Elkins. We set out to open a store in Elkins and in April of 2000 we were ready at 101 Randolph Avenue.
