Ok, here's a bit of personal info. I'm in my mid-thirties, I'm not conspiciously tall (6 ft. 1 inch) and my weight varies around 14 stone (the picture was taken in spring '99 on the island Föhr but I haven't changed much in the meantime).
By profession I'm an electrical engineer but I prefer to work as a software engineer which I think is far more interesting. Currently I'm working for a company that develops software for shipping lines and their vessels.
By now I've got some other sources as well, and the pronounciation recepies in the gaelic-for-beginners books I've collected over the years hint at something like "f-eu-lig" (where the eu resembles a sound like in the french word for flower, "fleur").
