In September of 1966, Fabral Metal Roof and Wall systems began manufacturing operations in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Fabral quickly developed a reputation for superior quality and service; over the years additional facilities were opened and the original Lancaster facility was expanded to meet increasing demand.
In 1979 Fabral became the market innovator with the introduction of the original 9" on center Grandrib 3® roofing and siding panel. This panel quickly became the benchmark of the industry and is now the standard by which all other competitive products are judged.
In 1997 Fabral became part of the Euramax family of companies. This move combined the strengths of both Fabral and Amerimax into one of the industry's dominate manufacturers. More architectural roofing and siding profiles were added to Fabral's product line with the 1999 acquisition of Atlanta Metal Products.
