Description
EyeTownCenter is the premiere online virtual community for ophthalmologists. This Internet based community allows physicians living in diverse geographic areas to network effectively with each other, very much the way they are able do at clinical conferences, but with certain key advantages. By visiting and interacting within these virtual communities, the physician members of the community will be able to:
pro-actively access, in a single location, a large number of vendors who offer services and products required in the operation of their medical practices.
OUR HISTORY
EyeTownCenter was founded by a group of physicians and Internet professionals who believe that the Internet provides physicians with a unique tool that can be used to pull physicians together into a “virtual community.” Through this virtual community, they can network with one another and thereby benefit from each others’ collective experiences. EyeTownCenter provides a centralized, specialty-specific Community Center web site, that helps eyecare physicians to use the Internet to more effectively care for their patients and manage their practices.
