About Us...
The Extremists Isle of Wight Mountain Bike Club was set up in February 1996 and currently has in the region of 35 members. We are an informal club, set up purely for the enjoyment of the superb cycling we have in our own back yard, the Isle of Wight. Our group is made up of mixed abilities, from young, fast whipper snappers to slower, older (wiser!) riders.
If you venture "over the water", you'll love the Island for riding - its a real mixed bag of chalky descents, rocky/rooty singletrack, hellish climbs - in fact, you name it, we've probably got it! If you do come, get hold of the Isle of Wight OS outdoor leisure map no. 29 for the best guide to our trails or contact us and we'll be more than happy to show you around our playground.
