My childhood piano teacher showed up unannounced today to see my mother. She’s been doing this a lot the last couple of years. She’s lonely. She’s also an idiot. She was married to her husband for about 15 years, and had two little boys. He worked hard, paid all the bills, was faithful, was a great father to her sons, and gave her the freedom to do as she pleased. She tutored and taught people the piano, and could fit her work around her sons.
