Buyers can cherry pick from a large pool of service providers, enabling them to hire a service provider across the country or across the globe…from the comfort of their computers. Service Providers are also given access to a huge pool of potential work and have the ability to work independently from their homes rather than for a company. How does it work?
Buyers visit Event Shopper to look for services related to their event, whether they are looking for a clown for a birthday party, a comedian for a corporate event, or a photographer for a wedding any these (and more) services can be found on our site. The buyers post their projects on the Event Shopper.Com web site, along with a maximum amount that they are willing to pay. The project is seen by all Service Providers world-wide and the bidding process starts. A buyer can browse through each bidder’s portfolio, profile, certifications and previous work history (including comments left by previous buyers) on the site. When the buyer finds a Service Provider they like, they can hire them on the spot. To make the transaction a safe one, the buyer does not have to pay the Service Provider directly, but escrows the funds into a special EventShopper.Com account. This guarantees to the Service Provider that the buyer is credit-worthy, and also reassures the buyer, because the Service Provider receives no money until the work is completed. When the work (or pre-agreed on portion of the work) is completed…the buyer release the funds to the Service Provider. When the work is completed, both parties rate each other to help future buyers and Service Providers on the site. If a problem arises, an EventShopper.Com facilitator will step in to help out. If a dispute occurs, the facilitator arbitrates according to the rules of the site to ensure a fair and equitable outcome for both parties.
