Currently featured as one of Filmmaker Magazine's "25 New Faces," Eva Ilona Brzeski is the writer/director/editor of This Unfamiliar Place, which has screened in festivals worldwide, and is in distribution through New Day Films. Her most recent film 24 Girls, currently on the festival circuit, was awarded Best of Festival at the Louisville Film & Video Festival. The film also received the Most Promising Filmmaker Award at the Ann Arbor Film Festival, the New Orleans Film & Video Festival Lagniappe Award and a New Visions Award at the San Francisco International Film Festival. A California native, Eva splits her time between San Francisco and New York where she is currently in postproduction on her first feature, Last Seen.
