He has published the popular website "Rugby Coaching Notes" which deals with all aspects of coaching and to a lesser extent playing rugby for over 10 years.
His rugby blog "About: Rugby" (www.eurekastreet.com/aboutrugby/) is relatively new. It bills itself as "the definitive rugby blog" and seeks to find and publicise not only Alan's ideas and opinions about rugby but also those few, rare journalistic and other insights into the game. It is not about personalities, players or even teams except as they relate to the game; playing, coaching or understanding.
