The idea of founding a close stock company “ERA AES” (literally from Russian: NPP era) materialized in July of 1998. And indeed the main forces of the company were focused on the work with facilities of nuclear and thermal power engineering which springs out of its title –ERA AES–Expluatatsiya (operation) and Remont (repairs) of Armatura (valves) for Atomnyye (nuclear) Electricheskiye (power) Stantsii (plants).
