Enterhost was formed in January of 2000. The dot-com boom had given way to a number of web hosting companies who were fortunate enough to be providing services in the late 1990’s. At this time, Linux was undisputedly the mostly widely used web server on the Internet. Windows NT hosting was a component of many hosting providers’ services, but none of them focused on delivering a serious Windows based solution.
