The Engage24 core team consists of Ian Hannah, Andy Rogers, Carolyn Scott, Barbara Brown and Morag Smyth. The vision was birthed when Ian gathered some worship leaders together to run a one off 24hr worship event in May 2000 and has organically grown since then.
Deep End Trust, a registered charitable trust supporting indigenous worship development which administers the events, was formed by Andy, Carolyn & other trustees in 1998. The idea was to create a vehicle that could provide support for various forms of worship development. At the time Andy was exploring intercessory worship in the form of 'Prayer Concerts' around the country so when Ian developed the Engage24 concept of night and day intercessory worship Deep End Trust was able to fulfill a role in supporting this development - and the 'partnership' was formed.
