- Dr. J. Scott Verner is originally from Amarillo. He graduated from Tascosa High School before moving on to work on his prerequisite requirements for chiropractic at Amarillo College (where he met his wife of almost eleven years, Jodi) and WTAMU. Dr. Scott graduated with his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree and a Bachelor's in Anatomy from Parker Chiropractic College in Dallas, TX in August of 2000 and wasted no time in getting back to Amarillo, as he began practicing in Amarillo two days after graduation. He and his wife Jodi have two children, Adam who is 7 and Ashlyn who is 2. Dr. Scott is an active board member with the Downtown's Lions Club and is a member of Hillside Christian Church. Over the last several years, Dr. Scott has been actively involved in supporting a number of organizations including, but not limited to, the Inter-faith Hunger Project, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Texas Panhandle, the American Red Cross, the World's Greatest Athletes Chiropractic Decathlon Club (which supported Olympic Decathlon hopefuls such as Tom Pappas), and the local Muscular Dystrophy Association with which he was recently named as one of "Amarillo's Most Wanted."
