Empower Peace launched their first worldwide youth-based initiative on May 22, 2003. The live videoconference linked high school students in Boston, MA USA with students in Manama, Bahrain. The broadcast took place at El Centro Del Cardenal High School in Boston where students from El Centro and Stoneham High School gathered together to talk live to students from Khawla Boys and Girls Secondary School in Manama.
