- Fran Starr is the President of Elite Nannies of Naples. Originally from the Philadelphia area, Fran relocated with her family to Naples, Florida over 11 years ago. Children have always been a major part of Fran's life. She holds degrees in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. She was employed as a teacher for 20 years, in addition to holding positions such as Preschool Director, Educational Consultant and as a Program Specialist, advocating for children and the mentally challenged rights. If asked, Fran will tell you her greatest achievement is that of a mother. Fran owned a Nanny Placement Agency for 4 years prior to opening Elite Nannies of Naples. She is a member of the International Nanny Association, the Naples Alliance for Children and NANC.

Elite Nanny Training Classes are being formed for professional, career nannies seeking the educational requirements to become certified by the International Nanny Association and by Nanny Association for Nanny Criteria. These organizations have set the standards for nationwide certification. By taking the Elite Nanny Training Curriculum, nannies can be assured of learning every topic covered in the certification exams. Additionally, students will receive a a training certificate from our school.
The creators of this course are Fran Starr, former owner of Elite Nannies of Naples, and degreed earlychildhood specialist and educator. Yvonne Finnerty, of London, England,a trained career nanny, parent expert, and star of the television show, "Nanny 911"; has joined forces with Fran in creating a curriculum which teaches professionalism and addresses every issue from how to interview with parents, to positive discipline.
