November 10, 2006: Our Internet and cable communications were restored this afternoon, after being out for 10 days due to a direct hit from Catagory-5 Typhoon Cimaron, which plowed into the Philippines just prior to my arrival on November 1. As I write this, another typhoon is approaching from the east, which is very rare for this time of year. Typhoon 'Queenie' (international codename Chebi) is expected to hit Northern Luzon within a matter of hours, and currently listed as a Catagory-3 Typhoon (wind gusts up to 185 KPH). I am not sure how long our Internet service will remain functional, so please be patient while waiting for our next update. (For those who have sent us emails within the last two weeks, I will respond as soon as possible after the storm passes.) Blessings, Timothy Snodgrass
