Back in the old days of apprenticeship David was apprenticed into the Jewellery Trade at a young age. He discovered an innate creativity and an aptitude for very fine and delicate workmanship. He loved his trade. Over the years he studied and practised all aspects of jewellery design and making.
He opened his first workshop in 1989, specialising in Bespoke Jewellery. His excellent reputation for providing high quality work quickly spread and he was approached by Retail Jewellers to handle sensitive repairs and to make specially commissioned pieces.
The business quickly outgrew its' premises and larger premises were sought and secured. During the ten year period from 1989 to 1999 an in-depth expertise in the jewellery trade was developed. David became a "name" in the industry, producing not only for the Retail Jewellery Trade but also for prominent Jewellery Designers.
