Nina McIntosh published the ground-breaking book The Educated Heart in 1999. It was the first text on ethics and boundaries for the profession and has become a classic in the field. She also writes The Heart of Bodywork, a regular popular column on ethics and professionalism for Massage & Bodywork magazine. Nina McIntosh was graduated from Tulane University School of Social Work in 1970 and was a psychiatric social worker for several years.
