The story of the Eden Rock Hotel in Sharm El Sheikh begins with a single tile. The developers came across the striking ceramic tile, featuring a spiral motif, during construction of the hotel. At the corner of the tile were the words 'inspired by Gustav Klimt'. Thus began a two-year drive to transform what was essentially a concrete shell isolated on a cliff, into a luxury hotel, with luxurious furnishings and interiors inspired by the art of this turn of the century painter.
