- My philosophy of photography is to “KEEP IT SIMPLE, INTERESTING and COLORFUL”. I look for pieces of the whole that might make an interesting image, rather than the whole object. For example, a knot on a tree or a rusty area of a junked freight car. In essence, I look for what I consider no one would give a second thought. I call it “abandoned art”.
