Description
Norm’s dream of a “better way” to cycle actually began in 1972. While recovering from a traffic accident Norm found he could balance a set of crutches across the handlebars of an old ten-speed bicycle to get exercise. Along with the great exercise Norm discovered a wonderful sense of freedom. After being confined to a hospital bed, wheelchair and finally crutches Norm realized how much he missed it.
Norm rode everywhere, miles and miles of freedom and exercise. Before long he realized the drawbacks of regular “upright” two wheeled cycling.
Norm went looking for a “better way” to bike and found recumbents. Recumbents have none of the design flaws that can cause the problems associated with regular uprights. To find out more about recumbents visit http://www.ihpva.org/FAQ/ on the Internet.
