- Eagle Studio was established in 1915 by Louder H. Matossian, an Armenian immigrant. For Matossian, the American Eagle symbolized strength and integrity. He chose to name his newly established portrait business Eagle Studio. He was proud of his heritage and proud to be an American. Over the years his studio prospered and he added cameras and supplies. In the late 30's, his daughter, Fimie, assisted her father in developing and printing customer proofs and B&W films.
