The Forschner Blade. Our high carbon, stainless steel blades are all hand finished in Switzerland by skilled craftsmen. We use a special tempering process to produce an edge that can be re-sharpened over and over again. So the Forschner knife can keep its original sharpness throughout its life.
The Forschner Handle. There are three types of handles to choose from. Our classic, traditional rosewood handle which is designed to provide maximum comfort at all times. And our modern nylon and patented Fibrox handles which are NSF approved, dishwasher safe, and slip resistant so they, too, minimize tension at the wrist.
