The Company was incorporated in 1957 under the name of Machine Control Ltd to produce air filters to meet the needs of the fast growing electronics, air conditioning & process engineering industries. The Company introduced and patented many innovative filter designs, which were marketed under the general product name of EMCEL. In 1993, to consolidate the corporate image and to improve customer awareness, the Company name was logically changed to EMCEL Filters Ltd.
